Click University's Certificates Programs

Click U will offer two new certificate programs beginning in January 2008:  the Knowledge Management Certificates Program and the Certificate in Copyright Management.

These two programs join the successful Competitive Intelligence Certificates Program already offered by Click U and allow SLA members to enhance their professional development and expertise.

All Certificates Program courses are available only to SLA members.

For detailed information please click on the specific program name below.

The Programs
Competitive Intelligence Certificates Program   The certificates program is based on effective and recognized intelligence practices and addresses the requirements of LIS professionals, organizations practicing intelligence, and the professional development marketplace.

The Certificate in Copyright Management  Your job as an info pro is not only to find the best information for your clients. In many organizations you also are the only defense against costly infringement actions. Once you locate the information, you must ensure you distribute it without violating copyright restrictions – and that your clients also stay within the law.

The Knowledge Management Certificates Program   Turning information into knowledge is becoming a key role of today's information professional. SLA members can get ahead in this fast-moving discipline with the new Click University Knowledge Management (KM) Certificates Program. The KM courses are appropriate for seasoned KM professionals as well as library and information science professionals who are not currently performing a KM function.

An Important Note
: While the primary goal in developing these programs is to allow SLA members to earn one or more certificates, each of the courses has inherent value and any course may be taken à la carte.
