Biography for Jacquelyn Knuckle

 

Jacquelyn Knuckle is currently employed as a medical librarian at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  She has held this position since December 2000.  Prior to coming to Chestnut Hill, Jackie worked at Scott Memorial Library, Thomas Jefferson University, where she was the Manager of Access Services.  Jackie earned her MS degree from Drexel while working fulltime at Scott Library as a cataloging technician.  

 

Jackie was hired as an entry-level reference librarian at Jefferson while still in school.  She has been active in the Philadelphia Chapter of SLA since joining in 1994 as a student member.  She has served as chapter president (1999-2000), and has been the Career Guidance Chair.  In 1999 Jackie was the recipient of the Diversity Leadership Development Program award.  Jackie enjoys reading murder mysteries, and is a fan of Walter Mosley, Robert B. Parker, and James Patterson.
