SLA is kicking off the Holiday season with a party on Wednesday, November 30
from 6-9 pm at:

Join your friends and colleagues for drinks and food to start off the holiday season with a smile. A special guest for the event will be one of the 2006 Candidates for the SLA presidency, Dav Robertson. Dav is the Chief of the Library and Information Services Branch, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).
A $10 admission fee will be charged at the door and receipts will be available. We will have plenty of appetizers on hand and a cash bar will also be available. No prior registration is required.

Free parking is available in the lot right next to the restaurant after 6 PM, so bring a friend, co-worker or colleague along to mingle with greater Boston's finest information professionals!
We are also collecting gifts for Bridge Over Troubled Water, a Multiservice program for homeless, runaway, and other at-risk youth . We will be posting their wish list of gifts for teenagers who wouldn't otherwise receive anything for Christmas, and will ask you to select a name and bring something from that person's list to the party (We'll be using Evite to track these selections to avoid duplications)
