Boston Area Library Directory Is Coming!

SLA Boston has entered into an agreement with Media Publishing Services, publisher of the Washington Area Library Directory, to publish a similar directory for the Boston metro area, both in print and online. We support this endeavor and the value this directory will provide our members and their constituents.

Media Publishing Services provides the publishing services for a consortium of library groups in the greater Washington, DC area and has had great success with three editions. As a result, they are currently in the process of publishing similar regional library directories, one of which is for the Boston metro area. They are working with the Philadelphia chapter and have also approached New York, Chicago, and us. By our participation we will be able to offer the directory to SLA Boston members at a discount.
