While They’re At War:
The True Story of American
Families on the Homefront

DC/SLA members and guests and 2006 DTIC Conference attendees are invited to join the Military Librarians Group of DC/SLA to hear from Kristin Henderson, author of “While They’re At War.”  Her book delves into the hidden aspects of military culture and the psychological realities for spouses and children of our fighting men and women.

This book-talk and book signing will be followed by optional Dutch-treat dinners at restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.  Books will be available for purchase.

REGISTRATION: Even though there is no charge for the book-talk, RSVP is required by COB Thursday, March 30. The portion of the ballroom being used has limited space, so make sure you are on the list.
