Welcome to Toronto! The Toronto Chapter is delighted to be hosting this year’s conference which coincides with our 65th anniversary. Whether this is your first visit to Toronto or your 65th visit, we hope that you, along with family and friends, find Toronto to be the vibrant, multicultural and open city that all of us in the Toronto Chapter know and love. With this in mind, many members of the Toronto Chapter have helped to produce this Web site, as well as Do North: Guide to Toronto, to give you a personal perspective on our city.
Toronto is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. Find out about the some of the special neighbourhoods in Toronto through the eyes and ears of our Chapter members. If you’ve got a few extra days to spend in Toronto or if your family is traveling with you, you'll want to read about things to do and places to see as recommended by our Chapter Members.
Are you a sports aficionado - we've got you covered with the article about sports in the city. If you are wine lover, don't miss the article about the wine country, a short drive outside the Toronto.
To go along with the multicultural population is an exciting array of cuisines. Make sure to review the conference standard, The Restaurant Guide, which will give you Toronto Chapter members' favourite places to eat, drink, and be merry. There are so many great places to visit and experience, to eat and drink within walking distance of the convention site, that you'll wish the conference were a month long.
Don’t forget to stop by the Toronto Chapter Hospitality Booth at the Conference Centre and meet some of the many members of the Toronto Chapter membership who will be on hand to greet you and answer all of your questions.
Best regards,
