CALL FOR CONFERENCE PAPERS 2001—An Information Odyssey: Seizing The Competitive Advantage Information professionals from around the world will be gathering in San Antonio to explore the changing environment of special libraries and information centers. The speed of change in technology is a catalyst for conflict and competition as well as opportunity. Our clients are able to grasp great quantities of data, but it is a blind journey down a river of information. It is our expertise and burgeoning knowledge that will make the information odyssey constructive and profitable. By letting go of traditional limitations and seizing opportunities to expand our horizons, we will become critical assets to our companies. San Antonio is the perfect setting for the Special Libraries Association Conference in 2001. The City with its Riverwalk and Mission Trails reflects the old and the new. You are invited to submit papers addressing the theme: “2001—An Information Odyssey: Seizing the Competitive Advantage” for the Special Libraries’ Association’s 92nd Conference in San Antonio.
