It has been brought to my attention by a number of conference attendees that there exists a concern regarding hotel accommodations for the Indianapolis Conference.

Upon full and complete investigation, it has been determined that those individuals who made their conference reservations with the SLA Housing Bureau via phone or e-mail on Friday, March 20th may indeed have a legitimate concern.

Over the weekend of March 21/22, Rogal America, the SLA Housing Bureau, experienced a major computer crash. The crash has effected a number of reservations. Rogal America has been working very diligently to restore all reservation records. Unfortunately, we are not able to verify or confirm the accuracy of those reservations made on Friday, March 20th. This issue concerns only those phone reservations received by Rogal on Friday, March 20th and no other dates.

We need your help and cooperation.

Individuals who may have placed their hotel reservations with Rogal on March 20th would have received a confirmation. If you believe you are one of those individuals, I need your help and cooperation. Would you please fax to SLA, attention Jim Mears, a copy of your confirmation of hotel accommodations received from Rogal America.

I am sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks to those individuals who have alerted me to this situation, and to your cooperation we should be able to make any and all necessary corrections in time.

Please remember, if you have changes or additions to make to your conference housing accommodations, you are requested to contact Rogal America at 1/617/926-7400 or 1/800/775-0505. Please do not contact the hotel directly, they will not be able to assist you.
