Employment Clearing HouseSponsored by Telesec/Corestaff Library ServicesThe SLA Employment Clearinghouse is a yearly resume referral service designed to help information professionals increase their awareness of available positions. For employers, the Clearinghouse is an easy and effective method of bringing job openings to the attention of more than 7,000 special librarians and information professionals. The Clearinghouse is a valuable service for all information professionals and employers, whether you are able to attend the conference or not! If you are attending the conference, the Clearinghouse hosts a private message center where you can reach a job seeker or employer to discuss a position or possible employment. The Clearinghouse has also reserved several rooms at the conference where an employer and an applicant can meet for an interview or to discuss a position privately. The Clearinghouse was extremely busy last year! Many successful matches were made between employers and information specialists. Hours:

Compilations of Available Positions/Resumes:If you would like to take advantage of all the postings at the Employment Clearinghouse but will not be attending the SLA Annual Conference, compilations of the available position descriptions and the resumes are for sale. Please complete the registration form found on page xiii, and submit with appropriate fees. Immediately following the conference, the compilations will be mailed to you.
