Directions to SLA
From Washington, DC and Points North: Route 1 South into Old Town Alexandria. Cross Duke Street in the far left lane, then bear left around the next corner. After yielding to northbound Route 1 traffic, merge into left lane and turn left immediately into Alexandria Gateway Parking Garage. Take stairs or elevator up to courtyard level.
From Points South: Route 1 North into Old Town Alexandria. Cross Wilkes Street in the far left lane. Entrance to Alexandria Gateway parking garage is one block north of Wilkes Street, on the left. Take stairs or elevator up to courtyard level.
From Points West: Take Duke Street (Route 236) or King Street (Route 7) into Old Town Alexandria. Turn right onto Route 1 South (Henry Street). Once past Duke Street, bear left around the next corner. After yielding to northbound Route 1 traffic, merge into left lane and turn left immediately into Alexandria Gateway Parking Garage. Take stairs or elevator up to courtyard level.
Via Metro Rail: METRO BLUE orYELLOW Line to the King Street Metro Station. Upon exiting the station, go towards King Street. Walk down King (in the direction of the Hilton), then turn right onto Daingerfield. Follow Daingerfield to Duke, then turn left. Walk 5 blocks, then cross Henry Street and turn right. At the curved handicapped access ramp, turn left and walk into the Alexandria Gateway Complex. SLA Headquarters is on the right in the courtyard.
