As a part of SLA's Centennial Celebration, CEO Janice R. Lachance will be the keynote speaker at several events organized by the SLA-Asian Chapter in different parts of India 4 - 12 Ocotber 2009.

The events and dates are:

  1. 7 October 2009 at Delhi, India. Lecture at 6:30 p.m. "Advocating for the Value of Information Professionals in the Workplace" by Janice R. Lachance 
     
  2. 9 October 2009 at Jaipur, India. One day workshop on "International Seminar on Libraries at Crossroads."
     
  3. 10 October 2009 at Ahmedabad, India. One day workshop on "Future Libraries and Librarians."
     
  4. 12 October 2009 at Pune, India. Half day workshop on "The Future of the Information Profession: Embedded Librarians and Beyond."
