Prior to our current organizational/governance structure of a separate chapter cabinet and division cabinet, the elected officers of SLA's units met together as the Advisory Council. Beginning in 1963, a Chair and Chair-Elect for the Council were elected by the general membership to serve on the Association's Board of Directors. Those individuals are listed below. Unless indicated, the person served one year as Chair-Elect and another year as Chair. Next month we will look at our cabinet officers.

Roger Martin was set to become Chair of the Advisory Council and H. Robert Malinowsky was elected Chair-Elect as the Council gave way to the chapter and division cabinets.
