SLA Directors
This month we highlight those individuals who were elected to the Board in the position of Director. In addition to serving the general interest of the Association, Directors take on special assignments as may be designated by the President as well as serve as liaisons to Association committees and advisory councils. Our first Board included two Directors (although that exact term wasn't used initially) serving one-year terms (re-election was possible). This number would eventually increase to six Directors serving three-year terms (two new directors elected each year). A recent change in our Bylaws has reduced that number to four so no Directors will be on the ballot for this year's election to held in the Fall.
