As SLA celebrates its Centennial Celebration throughout 2009, we want to pay special recognition to various groups and individuals who have helped shape our Association into the organization it is today. Each month we will acknowledge those who have contributed to helping the association reach its centennial year.

SLA's Staff | SLA's Conference Exhibitors
This month we take a break from recognizing those who have held a SLA office and focus on two important groups: SLA staff and our conference exhibitors. Thanks to DeVonne Parks and Doug Newcomb for providing this information.
Centennial Spotlight for April > SLA's Directors
We continue to feature our members who were elected to the Association's Board of Directors -- this month we look at the position of Director.
Centennial Spotlight for March > SLA's Treasurers
We continue highlighting members who were elected to SLA's Board of Directors. This month we will focus on the office of Treasurer.
Centennial Spotlight for February > SLA's Vice-Presidents
As a membership organization, SLA has depended upon many individuals to serve in leadership postions during the past 100 years. Over the next few months we will spotlight members who have been elected to various leadership positions at the Association level.
Centennial Spotlight for January > SLA's Charter Members
It seems only fitting that the first group we recognize this year is our charter members. These 56 individuals supported the idea of creating an association of individuals representing organizations that saw information as a vital tool in the workplace and were ready to use that tool to their advantage.
