Putting Knowledge To Work®

The 2003 New York Conference continues the branding initiative by using SLA's long-standing motto "Putting Knowledge to Work®. The sessions and presentations will create an environment for networking, communication, continuous learning and other developmental opportunities for members and other information professionals. This environment will also help to strengthen their competencies, enhance the image and advance the profession.

The Conference will also highlight strategies used in member organizations that reflect the Association's strategic plan- Professionals Putting Knowledge to Work in the 21st Century. These sessions are meant to give proper attention to our future directions. We will learn how our colleagues actually put knowledge to work in their organizations

SLA's 2003 Annual Conference recognizes our past, our present and our future. Working with the tracks and program levels, conference attendees should find themselves with a rich diversity of topics to ensure a rewarding and professionally stimulating conference. Our goal is to provide the platform for turning information into knowledge and Putting Knowledge To Work®
