Interested students will be responsible for trouble-shooting during SLA's continuous education courses, and for helping the instructor hand out course materials, certificates of completion, evaluation forms, etc. In exchange for their help, students attend that course free of charge. This is a savings for the students of up to $345! This opportunity is available to all graduate students regardless of their SLA membership status. We will not be covering housing, food and travel. Learn more.
Interested students should view the list of SLA 2007 CE Sessions and select a CE course. If you would like to view the course descriptions, please go into the online planner and "browse as a guest." Select only a Saturday or Sunday session designated as a "Click U Live!..." program.
Students should then contact Shelva Suggs, SLA Learning Coordinator, at ssuggs@sla.org or 1-703-647-4925, to notify her of their selection. Courses will be assigned on a first come, first served basis (please list your top 3 choices.) As we get closer to the conference dates, volunteers will be contacted with full instructions and room assignment. They will also receive a notice regarding an onsite orientations tentatively scheduled for Friday, 1 June 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Again, the specifics will be issued directly to the student volunteers.
The deadline for all CE session request are due to Shelva Suggs, SLA's Learning Coordinator, by 30 April 2007.
