Student Volunteer Opportunities
Student Volunteer Opportunities

Interested students will be responsible for trouble-shooting during SLA's continuous education courses, and for helping the instructor hand out course materials, certificates of completion, evaluation forms, etc. In exchange for their help, students attend that course free of charge. This is a savings for the students of up to $345! This opportunity is available to all graduate students regardless of their SLA membership status. We will not be covering housing, food and travel.

Students should then contact Shelva Suggs, SLA Learning Coordinator, at ssuggs@sla.org or 1-703-647-4925. Courses will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. As we get closer to the conference dates, volunteers will be contacted with full instructions and room assignment. They will also receive a notice regarding an onsite orientations.  Again, the specifics will be issued directly to the student volunteers.

The deadline for all CE session request are due to Shelva Suggs, SLA's Learning Coordinator, by 30 April 2008.
