SLA 2009 Closing Keynote Panel to Feature Aerospace, Business and Technology Luminaries; Television's Judy Woodruff to Moderate
Alexandria, Va., May 29, 2009--Thought leaders Neil deGrasse Tyson, Robyn Meredith and John Patrick, along with television's Judy Woodruff, will share their insights into the future of news, aerospace science, business and technology, and discuss the outlook for both information and information professionals in these fields on June 17 at the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO in Washington, D.C. The panel will follow the SLA Membership Meeting, which starts at 12:30 p.m. and takes place during the SLA 2009 Closing General Session. The session is sponsored by Dialog & ProQuest.

U.S. General Colin L. Powell to Deliver Opening Keynote Address at SLA 2009
Alexandria, Virginia, December 15, 2008
- Former U.S. Secretary of State, General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), will deliver the opening keynote address June 14 at the SLA (Special Libraries Association) Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO in Washington, D.C. Powell will speak following the awards ceremony during the SLA 2009 Opening General Session sponsored by SLA 2009 Major Conference Partner Dow Jones & Company.
