A. Select Join SLA from the navigation bar at the top of any Virtual SLA web page. Select Join Now by Mail or FAX or Join Now Online. If you chose "online" complete the application form as instructed. After completing the Mail/FAX version of the application form, submit electronically or print the PDF version and fax it to 1-202-332-9341 and/or mail it, with payment, to SLA, PO Box 75338, Baltimore, MD 21275.

Q. How do I change my address?

A. Go to the Members Only section listed on the side navigation bar of the SLA Home Page. Login using your Last Name and enter your PIN Number. Several options will appear on the screen, select View/Edit Membership Data. Your Edit Member Profile will appear. Make the necessary changes and click on Save your changes. Another screen page will appear stating the "Your request has been received!."

Q. What are the Member Benefits?

A. To learn about SLA Member Benefits, go to the Home Page and click on Member Services and Resources. For additional benefits click on "Other Benefits."

Q. If I have questions about my Membership such as has my payment been received and/or processed?

A. Go to the Members Only section and click on View/Edit My Membership Data. Scroll down the page to the bottom and click on View Detail it will tell you if there is a balance still due on your account.

Q. Can I renew my membership or add additional units by using my credit card?

A. Yes, you can call 202-939-3671 and/or you can fax the information to 202-332-9341 or e-mail the information to membership@sla.org.

Q. Can I add extra chapters, divisions and or caucuses during the year?

A. Yes, chapters and divisions are $15 each and caucuses are $12 each. You can call with a credit card 202-939-3671, or you can mail a check to SLA, PO Box 75338, Baltimore, MD 21275.

Q. How can I be sure that I am receiving all information?

A. The best and easiest way to do this is to keep your member profile updated with correct information such as your current address and e-mail. You can update your member profile at your convenience by using your PIN Number.

Q. How do I order a roster or labels for my unit?

A. Label/Roster Request Forms can be found on SLA's web site.

Q. What if I can't find what I need?

A. Go to the Home Page and click on FAQ Help.

Q. Does SLA rent its membership list?

A. Yes, you need to contact MGI Lists.
