2010 Recipient of DLDP Program Award

Nancy Snell, a research analyst for Kurt Salmon Associates, an international consulting firm, has been an SLA member since 2006. Prior to joining Kurt Salmon Associates, Snell was director of information resources at King Industrial Realty, Inc. She attended Florida State University, where she received a Masters of Information Studies. She has held numerous volunteer positions, including membership chair and treasurer, both for her Georgia Chapter of SLA. She also completed a research and analysis project detailing the Atlanta market conditions for Urban Land, a non-profit research group dedicated to efficient use of urban lands and their surrounding environments. She is involved in SLA because it provides her with the ability to expand and learn within her industry, and offers her opportunities for face-to-face interaction in an increasingly digital world. Nancy holds a lifelong perspective on physical disability through her own hearing loss. DLDP is happy to be able to help her grow in her leadership role with SLA.
