You can download the free plug-in or just use the browser version which does not require a plug-in. Instructions are available at: http://www.sla.org/content/interactive/chat/index.cfm

First time users of the SLA Chat Room need to register to receive an SLA Chat user account. by clicking on "Create a new user" on the Welcome to SLA Chat page at: http://www.sla.org/content/interactive/chat/index.cfm Your new account will be available immediately. Once you have entered the SLA Chat Room, navigate Roberta's Chat Room by typing on the command line, /go Roberta or click Roberta from the list of Chat Rooms at the top of the SLA Chat Room screen.

You don't need any special software to join the chat, just a web browser. If you'd like, you can download the FREE ichat client plug-in (http://www.ichat.com/plugins.htm) which adds more functionality to your chatting experience. If you wish to download the software, you may want to do that prior to the time of the chat.
