Using the SLA e-vote system is fast and easy. All members* in good standing as of 24 August 2009 are eligible to participate in the election. You will only need your SLA UserID and Password to log in to the evote system.
If, as of 24 August, SLA Headquarters has a valid, up-to-date e-mail address for you, you will receive an e-mail notice when the polls open. The e-mail message will also include your SLA UserID and Password.
Those members who have not provided an e-mail address to SLA Headquarters may still vote using the link below, or they may contact SLA prior to the opening of the polls to receive a printed ballot.

Instructions for Voting Electronically
| 1. | Go to the SLA e-vote system during the designated voting period. |
| 2. | Log in to the system using your SLA UserID and Password. |
| 3. | Click on the ballot name -- "2010 SLA Board of Directors Election". |
| 4. | Review candidates and/or positions up for election. |
| 5. | At the bottom of the page, click on the Click to Continue button. |
| 6. | Review the choices for each position, then select a candidate for that position. |
| 7. | Click the Click to Continue button. |
| 8. | Review your selections, then click the Vote button. |
| 9. | You have now completed the voting process! Congratulations! |
| 10. | You can view and print your receipt or exit the e-vote system. |
| *Excludes organizational and honorary members of SLA. |
