- Welcome (Anne Caputo)
President Anne Caputo called the meeting to order at 12:02 pm ET. - Roll call (Ty Webb)
Present: Board members Caputo, Romaine, Zamora, Trefethen, Blankson-Hemans, Sweeney, Bates, Rink, Hunt, Webb, Lee, Seaberry, Lachance, Staff members Broussard, Kenner, Joseph; Candidates Mai, Stern, Manasco, Brown, Hurst-Wahl
Absent: Board members Wolfish, Fifer Canby; Candidates de Stricker, Huffine, Hart, Jain, Tompson - Minutes from previous month Board call (All)
The minutes of the March Board meeting were approved as corrected. - Executive Session Item
- Visits (Anne Caputo, Cindy Romaine, and Janice Lachance)
Janice Lachance will visit the Georgia Chapter and attend the governing body meeting for IFLA. Cindy Romaine will speak at the Pharmaceutical Division's meeting next week and also visit the Pacific Northwest Chapter.
Anne Caputo will moderate a panel at the Computers in Libraries conference and will travel to China with People to People. She is also scheduled for an appearance at the Pentagon representing SLA. - New business
President Caputo, along with Past-President Zamora and CEO Lachance, took CFO Nancy Sansalone to dinner to thank her for her time with SLA and to wish her well as she takes the next step on her career path.
President Caputo mentioned that work has started on a strategic plan for the association.
President Caputo welcomed the candidates to this and to future Board calls. - Executive Session Item
