Pam Rollo has recently returned to public librarianship as the Business Development officer and Manager for NYPL Express, the fee for service business of The New York Public Library. Prior to that Pam worked for LexisNexis as Vice President for Primary Accounts.
The majority of Pam’s career so far has been spent with Credit Suisse First Boston, a global investment bank where she created and deployed policy for the firm’s libraries located in New York, London, Toronto, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney and Auckland. In this position, as Director, Information Resources, she collaborated with IT, Legal, Banking, Trading and Operations professionals. She has also managed research for executive recruiting.
Pam also serves as an adjunct professor teaching management of special libraries, online business searching and business reference sources to graduate students at three of the Universities offering graduate library degrees located in and around New York City. She has provided consulting services for both information vendors and libraries through her business, Collaborative Consultations, Inc. Her MS degree in Library Service was conferred by Columbia University in New York City.
