Dow Jones & Company Is Gold Sponsor for
 2010 SLA Leadership Summit

Dialog & ProQuest Continue Silver Sponsorship

St. Louis, January 26, 2010--Dow Jones & Company is the Gold Sponsor and Dialog is the Silver Sponsor of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Leadership Summit, taking place through January 29 in St. Louis. Dialog is part of the ProQuest family, which shares the role of supporting sponsor of the meeting.

The two-day summit offers attendees the opportunity to enhance management and leadership skills that apply to both their careers and to their work within the association. Information and knowledge professionals will engage in group learning and skill-building exercises designed to push their thinking and improve their leadership and management skills.

"Dow Jones as well as Dialog & ProQuest continually demonstrate their support of SLA and information professionals by underwriting important learning opportunities such as the SLA Leadership Summit," said SLA Chief Executive Officer Janice R. Lachance. "Through their generous support of SLA, our members enjoy and benefit from exceptional programs and speakers that get better and better each year. SLA appreciates the dedication of our sponsors to the future of the association and the profession, and we cannot overstate the value their contributions bring to this summit."

As the 2010 Gold Sponsor, Dow Jones is supporting the Keynote Address by Jim Kane. Kane is a loyalty strategist and is considered one of the world's leading authorities on building and maintaining loyal business relationships. The author of two upcoming books, The Loyalty Switch and Virtually Loyal, Kane is a frequent speaker to major business forums, senior executive groups, education, civic and non-profit organizations worldwide. As one of the most quoted and profiled authorities on loyalty in the traditional mainstream media, as well as niche publications, industry newsletters, and the blogosphere, Kane has been profiled and quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, the BBC, and numerous other global and industry publications. He is a frequent guest on CNN, CNBC and FOX Business, which credits him as being "one of the best experts in the business."

Dow Jones' sponsorship also supports other events at the SLA Leadership Summit, including the Board of Directors meeting coffee breaks and Summit Luncheon. Dialog is again supporting the SLA Leadership Breakfast on the second day of the summit.
