SLA CONFERENCE OPENS WITH FOCUS ON
BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY

Washington, D.C., May 13, 2004 — Business technology guru Dr. Carl Ledbetter will be the keynote speaker at the Opening General Session of the SLA 2004 Annual Conference Nashville, Tennessee USA. Dr. Ledbetter will share his candid perspectives on technology and business on Monday, June 7th at 9:00 a.m. in the Delta Ballroom of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.  

Dr. Ledbetter is a General Partner at UV Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Salt Lake City. He has served as Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at Novell, Inc. Ledbetter was instrumental in leading Novell’s Internet services, championing the company’s open-standards practices, and heading its Venture Fund.
