Nashville, Tennessee USA, June 4, 2004 — The Special Libraries Association (SLA) announces that LexisNexis will serve as a Major Conference Partner for their 2004 Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, June 5-10, 2004. LexisNexis is one of three Major Conference Partners with SLA this year.
LexisNexis pledged support for specific conference activities and events such as the Opening General Session Keynote Address, featuring speaker Dr. Carl Ledbetter; the SLA Innovations in Technology Award, the SLA Awards Reception, the SLA Leadership Reception, the Fellows Reception for First Time Attendees, and the Chapter Cabinet, Division and Board of Directors meetings.
In addition, LexisNexis is sponsoring numerous division-level activities, such as the Leadership and Management Division, the Military Library Division, the News Division, Association Information Services Caucus, and the Advertising & Marketing Division.
