SLA NOW ACCEPTS MULTIPLE INTERNATIONAL CURRENCIES
Washington, D.C., USA, January 7, 2004 —The Special Libraries Association (SLA) now accepts membership dues in selected international currencies. Members may now pay by check to join or renew in Euros, British Pounds Sterling, Canadian, and Australian Dollars. The expanded currency options offer flexibility for members without having to convert their currency to American Dollars.
“Offering payment in multiple currencies gives our members improved flexibility,” added SLA Executive Director Janice R. Lachance. “We will be considering more ways to enhance our global tools, as well as continually evaluating our services for a growing global membership. This is an exciting first step in the globalization of SLA.”
For more details on SLA’s enhanced payment flexibility, go to the SLA Membership Section or call 202-234-4700.
