The Information Outlook Advisory Council (IOAC) works with the magazine's editor to help set editorial direction and determine editorial content.
The council consists of eight association members appointed for overlapping terms of two years each. IOAC members should represent a cross-section of environments and locations so that they bring different career experiences to the council. IOAC members will work with the Information Outlook editor, who oversees the development and production of the magazine and is responsible for making final editorial decisions.
The Advisory Council shall:
- Collaborate with the Information Outlook editor to recommend general theme topics for upcoming or future issues.
- Recommend specific articles that fit within the themes to the Information Outlook editor.
- Suggest authors for articles.
- Review article proposals and provide feedback to the Information Outlook editor.
- Council members may, but are not required to, submit articles for publication.
