We are on the verge of some exciting changes in SLA. Wouldn't you like to be a part of those changes and help SLA move into our second century? You have come to the right place, SLA's volunteer database. Here you can volunteer to serve on SLA committees, AND you can let us know if you want to serve your chapter, division, caucus and even put your name forward as a candidate for the Board of Directors.
Volunteers for any position other than committees will be forwarded to the appropriate contact, unit leader or chair. This process, developed by Stephen Abram in 2008, brought so many new faces into SLA's volunteer network in its first year. It allows us to ensure the widest range of participation and involvement from the membership. When you get involved we all benefit.
