The following instructions apply only to discussion lists hosted by SLA (ending in @sla.lyris.net or @lists.sla.org).
Please contact the individual unit for questions about lists hosted on other systems.
SUBSCRIBE VIA THE WEB INSTRUCTIONS
Visit the "Subscribe to Lists Via the Web" page, enter the requested information, choose a list, and hit the "Subscribe" button at the bottom of the page.
SUBSCRIBE VIA E-MAIL INSTRUCTIONS
Choose a list.
Send an e-mail to the subscription address (lyris@sla.lyris.net) in the following format (leave the subject line blank):
Subscribe listname your-e-mail_address "FirstName LastName"
(e.g. Subscribe SLA-CDC jdoe@xyz.com "John Doe")
Note: The LISTNAME is the part of the list address preceding the @ symbol. For example, if the list address is SLA-CDC@sla.lyris.net, the list name is SLA-CDC.
UNSUBSCRIBE INSTRUCTIONS
Send an e-mail to the subscription address (lyris@sla.lyris.net) in the following format (leave the subject line blank):
Unsubscribe listname e-mail_address
(e.g. Unsubscribe SLA-CDC jdoe@xyz.com)
Note: The LISTNAME is the part of the list address preceding the @ symbol. For example, if the list address is SLA-CDC@sla.lyris.net, the list name is SLA-CDC.
