What are the characteristics of effective CI projects? How do I effectively manage or participate in various types of CI projects?

Successful competitive intelligence projects involve more than the luck of discovery. They require the integration of the intelligence process, intelligence understanding, and good project management. In this online course we will examine this, along with other vital aspects of CI project management, including: common types of CI projects, CI project lifecycles, how to define intelligence needs, key intelligence topics (KITs) and key intelligence questions (KIQs), managing project teams & resources, and working with intelligence users.  This course includes an exercise and discussions involving intelligence project planning and design.

Course Level: Fundamental - Basic concepts for those new to the topic or application.
