Description
Why we need to manage copyright is the underlying theme of Click University's Certificate in Copyright Management: Principles and Issues program.  The seven online and two in-person courses, developed and taught by lawyer and author Lesley Ellen Harris of Copyrightlaws.com, will help those in any type of organization thoughtfully and practically deal with copyright issues.

The open house will provide a brief introduction to the meaning of copyright management and copyright compliance from the perspective of librarians, publishers and vendors, and those who work with these groups.  Plus, learn about the newly-developed course "Copyright Principles for Authors and Publishers," which explores the relevant copyright and licensing issues for content creators and distributors.

2012 marks the 5th year of the program, which broke attendance records in 2011.  Lesley and SLA staff will be on hand to answer questions during the 60-minute open house. Don't miss this opportunity to find out about this premium Click University program, which was designed specifically for library and information professionals!  For more information, visit the program page and review the list of courses.
