2011 marks the 4th year of Click University's Certificate in Copyright Management: Principles and Issues program, a unique series of courses open to SLA members and the public. This open house will offer an opportunity to learn about the program and its component courses. We'll provide a brief introduction to the meaning of copyright management and copyright compliance from the perspective of librarians, publishers and vendors, and those who work with these groups. Lesley Ellen Harris of copyrightlaws.com, the program's developer and instructor, along with a program graduate and SLA staff, will be available to answer questions. Don't miss this opportunity to find out about this premium Click University program! For 2011, the program will be updated to include new content on copyright issues relating to Web 2.0 and digital content, practical steps to copyright compliance, global copyright and licensing issues, and educating those around you about copyright law and licensing.
