CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

Competitive Intelligence The certificates program is based on effective and recognized intelligence practices and addresses the requirements of LIS professionals, organizations practicing intelligence, and the professional development marketplace.

Copyright Management Your job as an info pro is not only to find the best information for your clients. In many organizations you also are the only defense against costly infringement actions. Once you locate the information, you must ensure you distribute it without violating copyright restrictions -- and that your clients also stay within the law.

Knowledge Management Turning information into knowledge is becoming a key role of today's information professional. SLA members can get ahead in this fast-moving discipline with the new Click University Knowledge Management (KM) Certificates Program. The KM courses are appropriate for seasoned KM professionals as well as library and information science professionals who are not currently performing a KM function.

An Important Note: While the primary goal in developing these programs is to allow participants to earn one or more certificates, each of the courses has inherent value and any course may be taken à la carte.
