Building Partnerships & Alliances: Success Strategies for Info Pros
Successful services and products meet their intended audiences requirements. Implementing, managing, and improving information offerings is rarely achieved without strong partnerships and alliances. There are many interdependencies in product and service delivery, usually across multiple disciplines, sometimes with conflicting purposes, requiring careful management of expectations. More often than not the information professional can add more value to their organization by building working relationships with people who work outside their immediate management chain or direct line of sight.

This interactive, highly practical, virtual seminar will enable the participant with:
1. A fundamental understanding of strategies and tactics for identifying partnership opportunities both inside and outside of the organization.

2. A partner engagement process for setting up and managing partnership relationships - including an interactive component that focuses on key learning's from successful and unsuccessful partnerships.

3. Key steps to take when dealing with dysfunctional partnerships or target partners and allies that are difficult to engage with.

4. Methods to measure partner success, including the communication to key stakeholders on the organizational benefit.

5. A template that can be used to start a partnership program.
