About the Speaker - Sue Henczel

Sue Henczel has her own company, INFASE Solutions that is based in Melbourne, Australia and provides the infrastructure for much of her consultancy and international work. She is responsible for developing and managing commercial cataloguing, language and metadata services, consortia services for members, and an international training program.  Sue is the Training and Consortia Manager at CAVAL, an academic library consortium, in Melbourne, Australia. 

Through CAVAL, Sue is currently working with UNESCO and the Japanese Funds in Trust to conduct an evaluation of LIS education programs for information professionals in developing countries.

Sue holds a Bachelor of Business (Information Management) and Master of Business (Information technology) from RMIT University. She is the author of ‘The Information Audit: A Practical Guide’ (K.G.Saur, 2001) and many articles on topics ranging from competencies to benchmarking. Sue is a contributor to the Dialog Quantum2 education and leadership program and is committed to the continuing professional and personal development of information professionals.
