Jennifer R. Pitarresi is a practicing attorney and a consultant, focusing primarily on the information services industry.

As a Corporate Counsel Consultant based in Washington, DC, she was responsible for spearheading team service and growing the DC/MD/VA legal market, consulting with general counsels, staff attorneys, paralegals, and librarians on appropriate services to meet their needs, as well as providing support to LexisNexis sales teams on proposals and client support, developing and conducting seminars, competitive presentations, and continuing legal education classes.

In late 2003, Ms. Pitarresi launched JP Consulting, concentrating on offering seminars and workshops on topics such as negotiation skills, effective presentations and communication, employment law basics, and Legal 101s. She has presented to individual employers, as well as associations such as the Special Libraries Association.
