Many projects that we work on involve some form of collaboration. Your team members might work in the same office or be around the world. Teams need an online space and tools that support group conversations, planning, and collaborative content creation. Existing tools can be cumbersome for sharing files, annotating them, supporting editorial discussions, and managing archiving and version control. The flexible, self-organizing nature of wikis and their ease of use make them an ideal tool for creating instant intranets or web sites, team areas, or library/IT documentation areas.
