Nan Siemer can draw from personal experience as she helps others negotiate better futures.

It’s common for broadcasters to change jobs—frequently! Nan learned quickly that transitions were not always as profitable for her as they were for some of her colleagues.
Nan couldn’t find any role models to teach her how to become a better negotiator. Therefore, she became self-taught. As a business owner today, Nan uses her negotiation skills…with vendors and clients…on a daily basis.

In 1992, Nan decided to capitalize on the demand for her services. She turned her knowledge into a business, and BREAKERS was born! Nan now works with a wide variety of government, business, and professional groups to help others improve their negotiation skills in the workplace. She also consults with individual clients.

Over the years, in addition to improving her own income and working conditions, Nan’s clients have found the skills they learn from her have increased their own net worth and helped them improve their working conditions. Nan also uses negotiation and communication skills to help her clients resolve conflicts in the workplace.

Nan has had several articles published and is working on a book on the topic of negotiation. She knows the skills it takes succeed. Most importantly, she says those who get the best business opportunities know how to “play the game.” And Nan has become a champion!
