Deb Wallace recently joined The Kennedy Group where she consults in a wide range of private and public sector organizations. She specializes in developing knowledge and learning strategies to maximize individual and organizational performance. A former teacher-librarian, information industry business development manager, and higher education curriculum consultant, Deb draws on her expertise in education, business, and information studies to design strategies and systems that enable organizations to increase capabilities and utilize their knowledge assets.
A frequent speaker and workshop facilitator on the benefits of “knowing what you know,” Deb co-authored Leveraging Communities of Practice for Strategic Advantage (Butterworth-Heinemann, 2003) with Hubert Saint-Onge and has contributed chapters to numerous knowledge and learning publications. She was cited as a “leading practitioner” in the ARK Group’s recent publication Communities of Practice: Lessons from Leading Collaborative Enterprises. (ARK Group, 2004).
Deb holds a Bachelor of Science from Moorhead State University, a Masters in Education from the University of Manitoba, and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
