Exploring the Strategic Context:  How do we get there?

In a turbulent, disruptive age of work, with new pressures to deliver on legal and corporate expectations of transparency, how do we establish a strategy for leveraging knowledge effectively – delivering on current needs AND building support for the cause?  Jim Lee, the Day One facilitator and an expert on knowledge management strategies, will establish a conversation on the subject and offer “hands-on” learning experiences to support the process.

Community Learning Session Two
The Cultural Context:  How does our environment shape thinking and actions?

Organizational culture is more likely to defeat new practices and processes than any other factor.  But dysfunction is something that exists in every business, government agency, or organization.  The dialog continues with practical insights on using existing culture to find victories and finding ways to gain investment in transformation of the work environment.

The Technological Context: Avenues for facilitating success

Nothing changes quickly today without the integration of technology.  Effective knowledge flow through an organization’s electronic assets can be a hit-or-miss proposition.  So what can you do?  Share best practices through small group interaction and explore new technologies that can give your KM efforts a boost.
