Air
Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest of three major airports in the Washington metropolitan area. You may also consider Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).
Rail
Amtrak’s hub in the Washington Area is Union Station in Washington, DC. A 30-minute taxi transport gets you to Alexandria. However, some southbound trains do make stops in Alexandria. Consult Amtrak’s schedule to/from Union Station at www.amtrak.com.
Local
Metro rail stops in Alexandria include the King Street Station and the Eisenhower Avenue Station. Both are serviced by the Blue and Yellow lines.
