Seminar Description
As a consultant helping customers implement Microsoft SharePoint technologies to leverage their knowledge assets, I've seen some significant changes in the way clients collaborate and manage their knowledge, but many of them still have a long way to go. I'll discuss how some Boston-area companies are solving their KM and collaboration problems, the barriers they faced or are still facing, and the positive outcomes, intended or otherwise.
Who Should Attend?
This presentation is designed for knowledge managers and IT professionals who are benchmarking Microsoft SharePoint's use as a knowledge management / collaboration tool or are interested in learning about this system's capabilities.
Critical Learning Questions
How are small to mid-size companies using SharePoint for collaboration and social media?
What are the advantages and drawbacks of SharePoint as a platform? What is records retention?
