Helen Mitchell Curtis is a specialist in Enterprise Search solutions and other related disciplines.  As an Independent Consultant, she primarily focuses on Search, Social Media and Collaboration Technologies.  She works closely with public and private sector clients to develop search strategies and solutions to meet customer requirements.  She specializes in integrating search technologies across disparate data sources, IT applications and the deep web.  Being vendor neutral, she utilizes the best technologies for clients to reduce costs, improve quality and efficiency, reduce 'pain points' and achieve a positive search experience. Whether developing a quick prototype for customers to gain a significant ROI or implementing a full blown enterprise search solution, her passion is to see each customer radically improve their content usability and findability. 

Helen recently retired from the Food & Drug Administration after 32 years of service where she led one of the largest enterprise search implementations among Civilian Federal Agencies.  She facilitated integration of more than 20 million documents and applications into their enterprise search system including utilization of federated search connectors plus developed governance and standards to improve content findability. Today, FDA continues to expand and improve their enterprise search capabilities and functionality due to the success and positive legacy she left behind.  Helen is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on search technologies and in her spare time, she enjoys spoiling her 3 grandchildren, traveling and photography.
