Description:
Has this happened to you? You arrive at work one day and there is this new "techie thing" that someone thinks is revolutionary. You have been asked to show staff how this "techie thing" works, why this thing works and, most importantly, how staff can use this application to do their job better...all while making the class entertaining. And you have never done anything like this before.
This one-hour seminar will start you on the path to becoming an effective trainer of technology, including introducing you to adult learning theory and learning styles, learner and instructor evaluation, workshop development skills and assessing your learners' needs.
Critical Learning Questions:
- How do I evaluate the needs of learners?
- How do I reach different types of learners in the same class?
- What are some best practices for teaching technology?
- How do I evaluate the effectiveness of the training?
Who Should Attend:
Anyone who has limited or no experience training will benefit from this session. If you do have some training experience, you will learn about the specific challenges of technology training. Also, anyone who is thinking about adding instruction, training, or staff development to their skills set is encouraged to attend.
* Note: Participant registration limited to 100
