To help shorten the learning curve, the SLDC will introduce the SLA Technology Forum this Fall.

SLATech 2001 will give information professionals hands-on access to new technologies and will examine the implications of those technologies on work, on organizations and on the future of the information profession.

Registration forms for SLATech 2001 be accepted until September 19, 2001 or until the 250 participant limit is reached, whichever comes first. SLA will maintain a short waiting list in the event of cancellations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We encourage you to reserve a hotel room early, but do not purchase your tickets for travel until you have confirmed your participation in SLATech.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing by October 3, 2001 will receive a full tuition refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted to the attention of Corvie Carrington by fax at 202-265-9713 or by email at learning@sla.org.

Hotel and Airfare Information:

SLA has reserved a block of discounted hotel rooms for SLATech Forum at the Hyatt Regency Monterey in Monterey, California. For reservations, please call 1-800-233-1234 or 1-831-372-1234 and ask for the SLA/Tech Forum group rate. Room rates are US $165 single occupancy, US $165 double occupancy (not including local taxes of 10%.) Reservations must be made by October 3, 2001 to ensure availability of this discounted rate.
