Grand Prize Top Member Recruiter*
- The individual who recruits the most new members (minimum 15) will win a giftcard valued at $300.
- The grand prize winner will receive special recognition in Information Outlook, SLA's official magazine.
Everybody Wins
- An invitation to join from you, a current SLA member, means special recognition for the new member. Every new member recruited will be entered into a drawing with a chance to win two additional units valued at $40.
- The individual who recruits 10 new members will receive a giftcard valued at $100
- The individual who recruits 5 new members will receive a giftcard valued at $50
- The individual who recruits 1 new member will receive a President's Club lapel pin and a membership in the President's Club, a special designation signifying your dedication to SLA.
- Every recruiter will be recognized on the SLA Website.
New member applications and dues payments must be received between 2 October and 1 December 2011.
GUIDELINES
- All SLA current members in good standing may participate and are eligible to win prizes. Only SLA members can participate.
- To receive credit for each new member, the referring SLA member's name must appear on the special online application.
- All new campaign member applications along with membership dues must be received no later than 1 December 2011, to be counted. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
- The earlier you start recruiting the better. In case of a tie in the number of new members recruited, the new member application with the earliest date will be the tie-breaker in the prize award.
- Prizes will be announced and awarded by SLA no later than 7 January 2012. Winners will be notified and results will be posted on the SLA website.
- By participating in the campaign, members agree that the decisions and guidelines outlined by SLA are final and not open to challenge.
- US giftcards may have usage restrictions or limitations as set forth by the card issuer. SLA will not be responsible for limitations on usage, lost, or damaged gift cards.
- A new member is defined as an individual who has never been an SLA member or has not been an active member for at least 90 days.
