SLA has again partnered with Information Today to provide members with exclusive discounts on the upcoming Internet Librarian conference taking place 17-19 October in Monterey, California.
SLA members who register before 16 September will pay the reduced rate of $299 for the full three-day conference, compared to regular attendee rate of $519. Members are also being offered a special rate of $99 to attend the Internet Schools track at the event.
Internet Librarian is a comprehensive conference for library and information professionals interested in using technology to discover the insights, strategies and practices that will allow us to tame the net, manage libraries and digital information, and enhance the information and learning experience of people in our communities. This year's Internet Librarian is featuring a new event; Library Directors Digital Strategy Summit. This two-day summit is an interactive forum for library directors, CEOs, and CIOs of academic, public, government and special libraries to problem-solve, discuss, and network with colleagues. It features a mix of high level presentations, expert panels, round table and facilitated discussions with lots of networking/peer engagement time. Members may attend at the reduced rate of US$ 599.
