Scholarships and Grants

Scholarship Program consists of awards for graduate study leading to a Master's Degree, graduate study leading to a Ph.D., and for post-M.L.S. study.

Each year, SLA awards $30,000 to at least 5 students who have demonstrated their ability and desire to contribute to the Special Librarian field. Details regarding the different scholarships, requirements, instructions and applications are outlined.

We will be accepting applications for the 2008-09 Scholarship Program 1 January - 30 September 2009.

Grants
SLA offers grants for research projects for the advancement of library sciences, the support of programs developed by SLA Chapters, Divisions, or Committees, and the support of the Association's expanding international agenda.

SLA Research Grant

David R. Bender Fund for International Development

There are also other grants, scholarships, and stipends offered by SLA's chapters and divisions.
